Man With Both Sell Order And Limit Order On Same Penny Stock Described By Psychologists As “Financially Ambidextrous”

Local investor and part-time Level II quote shaman reportedly has both a sell order and a limit order placed on the same penny stock, a move experts say reveals a rare personality type: someone who wants out immediately, but only if the universe first apologizes and pays a premium.

“He’s not panicking,” said one behavioral finance professor. “He’s creating a liquidity-based mood board.”

According to sources, the investor has simultaneously decided that the stock is doomed, undervalued, manipulated, about to moon, and personally disrespecting him. The sell order represents his desire to escape the position with what remains of his dignity. The limit order represents his belief that, at any moment, the market may recognize his genius and briefly become solvent.

“This is not indecision,” he explained while refreshing his brokerage app every 11 seconds. “This is strategy. I’m protecting downside while leaving room for upside, assuming volume returns, the CEO stops tweeting, and someone in a Discord with a skull avatar knows something.”

Market analysts noted that placing both orders on a penny stock is the financial equivalent of standing at the door with your coat on while also telling everyone you might stay if the party gets better.

“It says this person has been emotionally radicalized by a 4-cent spread,” one trader said. “They are both Warren Buffett and a raccoon trapped in a vending machine.”

Friends became concerned after he began referring to a $137 position as “my exposure” and described being down $28 as “temporary institutional suppression.” He has also reportedly said the phrase “once this breaks resistance” about a company whose last press release was formatted in WordArt.

At press time, the stock had not moved, because no one had bought or sold it since March, but the investor remained confident.

“I’m not stuck,” he said. “I have an exit plan, an upside target, and no relationship with reality.”
